Win Bragging Rights at the Green Racing Simulator

August 20, 2011

Is your name on the Green Racing Simulator leaderboard? Fans playing the simulator compete for the best Green Racing score, and the best scores for the day end up on the leaderboard that's displayed prominently in front of the display. Friends against friends, parents against kids - and everyone against the pros who have tested out the simulator.

The Green Racing Simulator lets fans test their driving skills and virtually compete for the Green Racing Cup. Based on who drives the fastest, the farthest, with the smallest environmental footprint, all teams in the American Le Mans Series compete for the Michelin Green X Challenge at the individual races and for the Green Racing Cup at the end of the season. Using the same scoring protocols as those used on the track, fans playing the simulator get to race a hybrid Corvette that uses cellulosic ethanol, and can see how much petroleum they displace at the end of each race.

Stop by the simulator to see how your Green Racing score compares, and to see who's won bragging rights. Fans with the best Green Racing scores know that driving efficiently and using the stored energy from regenerative braking are the keys to winning. So the next time you see the Green Racing simulator, come out and get your name on the leaderboard!
